Steve Mandel, Founder and President
Steve began Mandel Communications in 1983. He is a renowned presentations trainer and coach and the author of the highly-successful book, "Effective Presentation Skills." In addition to serving as a key Mandel company executive, Steve thrives on working directly with clients in one-on-one coaching and group workshop settings. He has a deep appreciation for the communication challenges faced by professionals and executives in high-stakes settings and works exceptionally well with mission-critical communication needs. Steve's business success and his avocation as an accomplished amateur astronomer have earned him special recognition in Forbes magazine.



Ed Musselwhite, CEO
Ed has been a leader with Mandel Communications since 1997. He works closely with clients as a consultant, trusted advisor, and executive coach and is responsible for overall Mandel company planning and performance. After a top-ranked career in sales and sales management with IBM, Ed was the co-founder and EVP of Deltak, Inc., one of the first global IT training organizations (now NETg). Subsequently, Ed was CEO of Zenger-Miller, a premier management development company that served hundreds of client organizations worldwide (now AchieveGlobal). He is the co-author of three books on team effectiveness and is a sought-after speaker for industry and client conferences.



Kathleen Redd, Principal & Vice President,
Global Training Resources
Kathleen has been a coach, trainer, and consultant with Mandel Communications for 15 years. She is responsible for the selection and continuing professional development of the company's globally-deployed cadre of expert coaches and trainers. In collaboration with Greg Madsen, she leads our unique approach to assuring total quality in our delivery for clients by providing a seamless interface between all Mandel Associates who interact with our clients worldwide. Kathleen is an active member of the Association of Briefing Program Managers (ABPM) and is a contributing author to "Best Practices in Customer Service."



Brad Holst, Principal & Executive Director, Solutions Design
Brad has designed and delivered winning training and coaching solutions for a diverse cross-section of Mandel’s global clients, from start-ups to top names in the Fortune 50. He is the prime creator of the proprietary models and processes now found in Mandel’s powerful suite of communication content-planning tools, including the Mandel Blueprint. Brad is a masterful teacher, coach, and consultant, with a rare level of business acumen based on his prior leadership roles with three market-leading companies: The Walt Disney Company, The Clorox Company, and Armor All Products.



Greg Madsen, Principal & Vice President
Greg is responsible for our on-going contacts with client decision makers and their teams and nurturing those relationships over time by providing exceptional value. In collaboration with Kathleen Redd, he leads our unique approach to assuring total quality in our delivery for clients by providing a seamless interface between all Mandel Associates who interact with our clients worldwide. He has expertise in executive coaching, leadership development, and strategy execution, having held senior positions with Dave Ulrich's RBL Group, Catalyst Consulting, Interaction Associates, and Cybersource. He lectures at Stanford University and is a featured speaker for client groups and conferences.



Patricia Bourne, Principal & Vice President, Operations
Patricia has been a key executive with Mandel Communications since 1995. She is responsible for finance and administration and has overall responsibility for the company's HR, IT systems, and legal functions. Patricia regularly works with clients to assure that we follow their purchasing processes and fulfill their purchase agreement requirements.



Naomi Blanco, Director, Global Training Support and Logistics

Naomi has been a key member of the Mandel Team since 2002. She manages the mission-critical tasks involved in scheduling Mandel’s trainers and coaches for our client engagements worldwide. She also supports the training and development of Mandel's globally-deployed trainer/coach cadre, and her team supports the logistics for all Mandel workshops and coaching assignments throughout the world. Naomi is a member of Mandel's internal Strategic Planning Team.





Jacque Azua, Manager of Accounting
Jacque has been with Mandel Communications since 1999. She is responsible for Mandel's accounting functions, including assuring our compliance with client purchase order and invoicing requirements. Jacque has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and recently earned her Masters in Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University.
